So you’re making decent money from your business. And you are stressed, not by doing work, you are stressed because you can’t find anyone who needs your services. Am I right? In both topics, you need to have a proper existence in the maps. Because when your potential customers need you, you should be on the map packs so that they can drive to you to get your services. Or at least they could know that you are a real business.

Among the total service consumers, 60% depend on Google Maps. And it’s a deciding factor that if that person is going to be your customer, they will totally make a bad impression about your business. The result? – He/She will get the service from your competitors. That’s not what you want.

Being on the maps nowadays is very easy. Log in with your Gmail. Then just go to Google Business Profile and fill out the information they need, and that’s it. It’s not mandatory to have a physical shop to get a map listing nowadays. – Great opportunity for a mobile business owner.
Pro tip – Make sure you are properly selecting the categories here. It’s an important thing to do. If you select a lot of unnecessary categories, it’s a lost project for you. Be in the middle and select the relevant ones for your business.

Be on your neighbours with social media and be valuable

Who isn’t on social media, hahah, what a silly question, right? – yes its silly but, if you take a good look at your own facebook page or instagram profile, you will see, your last post was 1 month ago, maybe 2 or sometimes its 6 months old. So, again, are you on social media? – This time, you will say, you know I had that, I was there, I was busy, fuck it. Admit it, you suck at posting. You are not alone.

So what to do? – First, make perfect profiles for your businesses. If you have a Facebook business profile or instagram account with your business name, website, and details, don’t mess this up. Post 3-4, maybe 6 posts per week. Make 1-10 short videos per week.

It’s complicated? – No, it’s not. This will only work if you have already done all the above ones. If you start building your website, it will probably take 2-6 months to make the whole website and get a decent amount of leads from there. So, in these 2-6 months, you are getting enough leads to serve. Whenever you are going to give your customers services, just click photos, record videos. That’s it. Yes, you read it right, that’s it!

Go and publish the photos on your social media platforms, write a proper description using a social media posting template. And for the videos, you don’t even have to edit them. Because when a new customer sees your raw footage of working, it will build 90% more trust than well-budgeted, well-maintained, high-quality shooted and edited videos. Just mkae sure to mention the services you provided to that client of yours and thats it.
BY the way, don’t forget to link your website from your social channels. It will improve the overall relevance of your business in Google’s eyes.

Don’t just post blog posts on your website; it’s an old model, and it doesn’t work for a business like yours. – This is what all other SEO Gurus will tell you. But what happens if you post blogs, but you post differently? – You will rock. And we will do it with this method.
First, write content in a very simple, informative tone. Don’t overcomplicate it, just take a problem and write a solution for it. Maybe writing for 500-1000 words is enough. Great post on your website. Then post it on your social media. This is how it needs to be done.

Suppose you have written a blog on “auto battery replacement by yourself” and you publish it on your website. If you have done SEO and other connections, and suppose it ranks, and a person is on the page. He is looking to learn how he can replace his cars battery. Do you really think that a non-professional will touch under his bonnet? – No, he won’t, he will understand the process, and it will trigger a button in his brain that you are the best at battery replacements in that area. This is where the UI/UX and the website appeal come into play, if you have managed to make the website marketing angle, your customer will call you instead of trying by him self.

Now you have a blog and a customer. Make a video/take images properly as mentioned in the 4th step. Then go to your social media and post it, and in the end, link the blog post that you have made to it. It will help new users to visit your services, and also again it will make the same loop, where with a simple blog asset you can get a lot of calls and sales.
